Tried out 4 different watches before settling on this one and glad it did! Spent too many hours researching and reading reviews lol. Have had this watch on my wrist now for just over a week and loving it. Checked all my boxes and more. Has a beautiful easy to read screen, even outdoors. Battery life is great. Started wearing it at 80% charge and a week later with a lot of use (including running with gps) it still has 32%. Way better than having to recharge an Apple Watch every day. Has a great amount of faces that look great and provide easy to read info. Paired super fast and easy with my iPhone. Found the Zepp app very friendly and easy to use and it provides more info than you will know what to do with! I love the PAI feature which is an automatic measure (physical activity indicator) of how much fitness you are getting in. I love that this basically sets a goal for you and is an easy way to keep track of how you are doing!. I upgraded the strap (not that there was anything with the plastic one) to a stainless one for 11.99 and it looks great and very expensive. Super light weight. Waterproof. Has built in GPS so no need to bring your phone on a run. Will notify you of text, calls etc which you can configure in the app. But you can’t respond, at least not with an iPhone. Has built in Alexa. Have been using it at the gym with my personal trainer. I like that when you increase the intensity of your workout it automatically starts tracking your heart rate much more frequently than in every day usage. (this saves a lot on battery but gives it to you when you the heart rate most when you need it). Has an altimeter which seems accurate which I will put to good use when hiking in the Colorado Rockies where I live. A tons of other features, 7 day weather outlook, calendar, to do list, Heck the watch even tells you if this is a good day to get your car washed! lol. Anyways reviewing and purchasing a smart watch is a bit subjective of course. Sort of like trying to review coffee. A lot depends on your goals and personal preference. But for me this was a great option. Would be nice if it came with an owners manual (there is one available I found online) but I found it intuitive to use anyways after playing around with it for a while. One last thing is that the screen is slightly smaller than some of the other options out there (the GTR3 pro is a little larger) which suits me as well since I have somewhat smaller wrists. In my opinion you can’t go wrong with this watch if these are the kind of features that you are looking for.

I’ve owned every generation of Samsung smart watches and I do not understand why larger companies don’t GET how to make the battery life last as long as it does with the much more affordable none name brand watches. What’s the deal? The battery life lasts like 7 days plus. I’ll never go back to the big brand names. My only recommendation would be to the software creators, the watch should analyze any amount of sleep no matter what time of day they are sleeping. As a nurse, I work night shift. When I sleep during the day it counts my sleeping periods as naps and doesn’t analyze the quality of naps. Unfortunately, not everyone gets to work a dayshift job. Other than that, the watch is incredible.

heart rate readings lags when doing intense workouts, gps is accurate, good starter watch for tracking general fitness info.

Muy buen reloj, la calidad del pulso de cuero es muy buena, se ve muy elegante, cuenta con las mediciones estandar para este tipo de dispositivos, y tiene una gran cantidad de esferas para escoger de forma gratuita.

Great watch, coming from a Samsung watch active and watch 4, my main complaint was the battery, this blows them away.
Pros
* The watch has a good screen, is responsive, and has a decent array of features. Edit: it actually has a ton of features, they’re buried all over the place in different menus.
* Battery life is years ahead of Samsung and Apple, it’s honestly confusing to me how it’s so much better. * Easy transition from Samsung watch as far as day to day usage, it navigates mostly the same.
Cons
* Not much of a store, settings are all over the place and it’s a bit confusing how many different pages they reference and how split up they are all.
* I don’t know how many watch faces they mentioned but in reality you get 4 or 5 to start and most of the other watch faces I saw cost money. The watch face store didn’t have an easy way to filter on “free” that I could tell either.
* Widgets are a bit of a pain point, I want more widgets available so I can access them via carousel, there’s maybe 10 total.
* They could benefit _a lot_ from a native English speaker helping with localization. Functionally passable but it just looks more professional if menu items aren’t just typed into Google translate right?
* The dials, worst part of the phone for me. (Not that big of a deal but I don’t like them) They’re both pretty big and really take the otherwise fine aesthetic down a notch. The second button has little functionality aside from bringing up a workout list, which is overkill in my opinion. (edit: you can assign any functions you want to either button including short/long hold, which is nice, I still probably only need 1 though)
* Brushed the watch on a wall while walking and it definitely nicked it a little bit, I’m not saying it wasn’t my fault but I’ve done the same many times with my Samsung and the glass looks like day 1 still.
* Sometimes I get the same alert more than once, no idea why, I’ve googled it and some people mentioned using a third party app to fix this. I’m not sure if that’s still the solution but if it is, it’s terrible, hoping it doesn’t persist or that there’s an up to date fix for it.
Overall this watch punches way higher than it’s price, and it’s performance is surprisingly good. I was worried about a larger watch but I actually like it better than I thought I would as well. I’m on day 4 I think and the battery is in high 70s, not that it matters a ton but it’s actually pretty cool to be able to use the sleep tracking feature, which you just can’t do with a lot of watches without multiple charges in a day.

When I got this watch I liked the way it looked. I was happy to try it. The setup was easy. I liked the graphics as well. It did not take me long to try it. I wore my other Fossil watch on my right and my GTR 3 on my left. I wanted to see if the accuracy was good. I was disappointed right away with the heart rate readings on my GTR 3 and that is the reason I gave it a 4 star rating. The heart rate reads high unless I do a quick reading. Then it reads normal. If it is loose on my wrist it always does a bad reading. Mostly on the high side. Other than that I really like this watch. I am still learning some of the features but I really enjoy wearing the watch.
Pros:
1. Great battery life. I wear it constantly and get 3 full weeks of life with all my apps working. My Fossil which I like, I had to charge everyday with most of the apps off. So the GTR 3 blew it out of the water.
2. Great bright graphics. This watch can be seen anytime during the day. I have tried having it on all day and it just amazes me how good the graphics are. Having it on all day reduces the life but it is good.
3. Very light on the wrist. Sometimes I forget I have the watch on.
4. Great apps. The blood oxygen the PAI and the one tap measuring are great. Not the mention the stress feature. I really enjoy seeing how I am doing stress wise.
5. The price. I got this watch on sale which is a lot better. I wanted to buy the square version but I am happy with this one.
6. It comes with Alexa. Unfortunately my Alexa feature is a bit sketchy. Sometimes it work and sometimes it does not.
Cons:
1. Heart Rate monitoring. It works great when doing a quick reading but throughout the day it always reads higher. Sometimes in the 100’s even when you are sitting down doing nothing. Crazy reading out of nowhere.
2. The watch faces are limited. I wish there were more interesting faces but it is not bad at all. There are a few that I like and stick to them. But I like options.
I really recommend this watch if you are tired of charging your more expensive watches everyday. I have gone away from my Galaxy and Fossil watches. They cost me a lot and now they collect dust. This watch replaced them all.

This review is being written by my husband. I bought this watch to replace a cheaper model. I looked at all the more expensive watches but just couldn’t justify the price. I liked it so well; I bought a second one for my wife. We’re in our seventies and wanted to monitor our sleep patterns, heart rate, and stress levels. This watch will certainly do that and a lot more. I’m hearing impaired and have the watch paired to my iPhone for phone calls, text messages, security camera alerts and garage door events so I don’t have to pick up my phone, I just look at the watch. A few words about watch faces: A lot are available in the app; some are free some are not; if you use a busy watch face that captures a lot of useless data you lose battery time, choose one that you like and go for it, I actually keep six available on my watch. We’d recommend this watch to anyone looking for a useful and very nice smart watch without spending a lot of money as we’re way past looking cool, we just like being cool!

I would be delighted to provide you with a five-star review for the Amazfit GTR 3 Smart Watch for Men. This is an exceptional smartwatch that comes with a wide range of features that make it a must-have for any fitness enthusiast or tech-savvy individual.
Firstly, the 21-day battery life of this smartwatch is truly impressive. You can wear it for extended periods without having to worry about recharging it constantly, which is a huge plus. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who are always on the go and don’t have the time to charge their devices frequently.
The Alexa built-in feature is another significant advantage of this smartwatch. You can access Alexa on your wrist, allowing you to get instant responses to queries and control smart home devices with ease. This is a great feature for individuals who like to stay connected and organized.
The Amazfit GTR 3 Smart Watch comes with 150 sports modes and GPS, making it a perfect companion for fitness enthusiasts. You can track your progress, monitor your heart rate, and even measure your SpO2 levels, giving you a comprehensive overview of your health and fitness goals.
The 1.39” AMOLED display is another standout feature of this smartwatch. The display is clear and bright, making it easy to read even in direct sunlight. The watch is also water-resistant, which means you can wear it while swimming or during other water activities.
Lastly, the Amazfit GTR 3 Smart Watch is compatible with both Android and iPhone devices, making it accessible to a wider audience. Overall, I would highly recommend this smartwatch to anyone looking for a reliable and feature-packed device that is perfect for fitness tracking and staying connected on the go.

Great even if it was priced twice as high.
1. Battery lasts at least three days with full time heart rate monitor, blood oxygen monitor and 1 minute interval gps tracking. Step counts and distance spot on.
2. Sleep tracking compares to my Garmin watch very well.
3. Pared with my iphone 14 no problem.
4. Syncs with Apple health and Strava with no issues.
Takes some time to learn personal setup config and navigating the app to see your data.
This will be my daily driver.
Hope water resistance is good as I swim.
