My elderly cat has both hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. Even medicated, she is hungry and cries for wet food every 2 hours around the clock. So, you can imagine what a lifesaver this automatic feeder with ice packs has been! I bought the first, then bought a second!! Absolutely worth every penny!

The food splitter could be a lot better, it does a surprisingly good job of dividing the food, but it quickly piles up in the corners and up into the machine.

I have 3 cats. I have an automatic double feeder and a single. If I’m gone all day or for several days, or if I am just busy, I have mine set up to feed 4 meals a day, and you can select the portion sizes. I highly recommend them.

The cat feeder is well made but the assembly instructions are minimal. There are no instructions for the part that helps to hold the trays to the main unit. The control panel is difficult to use. Combinations of buttons that make no sense are required for basic functions. The buttons don’t always respond but when they do they are hypersensitive. After it is set up, the feeder appears to perform well.

This does everything it says. Just know that the cooler packs won’t last more than a 6-8 hours, so your wet food will be room temperature after that time.

No complaints at all. Easy to set up and clean. My cat hasn’t broke into it even tho he has tried very hard. My dog can’t get into either even after pushing it and throwing it across the room. lol
