So I’m going to compare this to the Razer Tartarus, because that’s what I used before. The k585 has more buttons. That’s about the only big advantage I’ve found to this. However I haven’t found any flaws that deter me from using the k585 so it’s my go to for FPS and RPG/MMO gaming.
The Tartarus is smaller, more comfortable and has WAY better RGB customization than the K585. The larger size of the K585, and the absolutely useless magnetic wrist rest are the biggest reasons for the loss of comfort. I found that putting a small bean bag under my wrist mitigates the discomfort, but I just can’t stand how poorly it “attaches” to the controller. As for the size, those with smaller hands or shorter fingers might find reaching certain keys difficult, or a tendency to mush the zxc keys while using WASD. Then again, those of us cursed with drummer hands do that anyway with any keyboard.
I’ve been a fan of Redragon products for many years. I have 2 gaming mice and this keyboard, and all work wonderfully. If this is your first one handed keyboard controller, or you favor having more buttons over fancy blinking lights, this is a great model to get.

I really like this keyboard and its the only one I want to use and have been using for the last couple of years (with replacements) but I dont know what my issue is with the A key on these keyboards.
The first on I bought had the blue switches which worked fine for a while then the A key would randomly not respond at moments, ruining my strafing ability. At that time I just decided to buy another one with the brown switches. Worked fine for several months then the same exact issue with the same exact key. I dont know if its the software or what but it seems to only be me with the problem I guess.

I bought the one handed DITI keyboard for my work with Photoshop and the Kumara for a normal keyboard for writing and using the pc but here’s the problem:
Redragon products have conflicts between each other, as i found out if you have two keyboards from them it will only detect one. I had to juggle a lot before realizing that i couldn’t update the firmware on both, when i do one of them goes black and not even the leds will turn on. If i want to customize the macros on the one handed one i have to unplug the other one because if i didn’t it will change another key from the wrong keyboard, like i said, even if you install the software for each product they will only detect one of them. Same with the ligths, wanted to edit the color on the one handed one but kept changing it on the Kumara instead.
Really a shame because i like both, they are comfortable keyboards that feel good to work with and the leds look nice , i eventually got both of them working and by the unplugging and plugging method could finally customize some macros but it inexcusable that the software is so terrible.
Also worth mentioning. I figured out how to get the Kumara to show a solid color but that wasn’t an option with the one handed DITI, some people in the answers were saying you can get a solid color with a firmware update but that’s not true, only 4 light modes available even with the latest update. Its mildly annoying to have all my leds as solid blue and the one handed keyboard with the flashing “breathing ” effect. It shouldn’t really be complicated to just allow for the solid color option honestly.
If the software was up to par i’d gladly give both products a 5 star review.

Roughly 180 lbs with medium size hands. It’s small, compact and gives me more room to play with for sure. The issues that I have personally is the space bar requires me to stretch my hand causing me to subconsciously shift my whole hand when playing my games. It is in an unusual spot. I.e. the attracted photos show a relaxed position and a stretched position. This leads to massive amounts of mis-clicks when playing competitive.
Anyone with a smaller hand is going to have even more issues than I unless they key bind important keys in which I use.
The magnet does exactly what it is supposed to do and I have zero issues with the strength of it.
It feels like it is made with good quality and doesn’t feel tacky.
I hope this help

I really enjoyed this product when I first got it a few years ago. After a while it stopped working right so I installed the red dragon app to keep it up to date with drivers.
Next thing I know, I am having very strange occurrences in the games I play for 1 specific key binding that I set in game only for ‘ ~ ‘
Whenever I press this button now in game, it binds to almost all my game key strokes which is not good in any situation.
I know it’s only this keyboard because I am not having this issue with my LG keyboard when I play.
I also checked the red dragon app and am not seeing that any key bindings are set.

I bought this Keypad thinking it would be a great buy. Once I got I realized this was just a half-keyboard. The Ergonomics are non-existent the only keys you can reach with your hand in a neutral position are WASD, Strafe right and left, and space button with your thumb. Tab a very important gaming button is in the standard position of a regular keyboard and you have to reach out very far in order to press it. you can reprogram keys but the problem is that the app does not work independently from your regular keyboard it alters the keys on your regular keyboard as well. The only thing I like is the feel of the keys. Instead of spending money for this keyboard, I recommend investing in a true gaming keypad from other brands like Razer although pricey the experience is a much better one.

I got this because I don’t want to spoil my laptop’s keypad because of my aggressive gaming and didn’t want to buy a full size keyboard that takes up lot of space. Took me sometime to get used to it as I already had reflexes built up for my laptop’s keypad. It is definitely not as good as compared to Legion’s mechanical keyboard but once I got used to this I don’t find any issues in my gameplay anymore. Did fiddle around the polling rate to find that sweet spot. I was on the verge of returning it as I started loosing to my opponents and thought that this is not what I wanted but after using it for a while and playing with the settings, man this thing is awesome. I have customised the key bindings as per my gameplay and did stick a small red sticker dot on the F key so I don’t have to look at it to figure out. The looks are premium and it feels heavy and stable on a table top. Will not slide easily when things get heated up while gaming. It took a while to get a little used to the raised platform and adding that extra magnetic support helps.
I usually spend 3 to 4 or maybe 5 hours daily on playing video games so maybe it will take little longer for other gamers to get used to this who spend less time. Don’t feel any fatigue or pain in my wrists.
I would recommend it to other gamers who are not into esports. For the cost this is a far better option than the branded ones unless you want a full sized keyboard.

4 stars because while the software is absolutely garbage that requires me to shrink my resolution down to 720p just to see (no, really, it DOES NOT SCALE IN WIN10), it’s a solid unit. After swapping a few keyswitches (it’s hotswap!), keycaps, and using it for as long as I have, I do in fact love this thing. Would replace with the same unit if I broke it, even!

I was really looking forward to trying this keyboard out, but as soon as I opened the box I knew it wasn’t going to work. The keys are really high and make a very loud clicking sound when pressed.

Biggest problem is that games like Starfield need all 104 keys for some insane reason, but this device is a steal at twice the price

Bayley Makloski –
It is a great keyboard, it is a little wide for my hand, I have to stretch my fingers across the board to get to keys when playing games.
Very easy to program keys and macros

I got this version specifically for use on my Red Magic 8S Pro and Steam Deck. I can now have a reliable keyboard with capture card gameplay.
This also lets me use a mouse with a USB passthrough (using a redragon mouse). Now, no matter how pitiful my main PC specs are, I can capture gameplay reliably while keeping good control. I highly recommend this!

I’m always traveling and living out of a suitcase. I wanted a keyboard that wouldn’t take up much space in my luggage or when used at those tiny hotel desks. This keyboard fit the bill. I’m able to play my games without feeling cramped or over extended. I highly recommend this for anyone who’s situation matches mine.

I love this. It’s a great size. I was worried about the location of the buttons, I have small hands and was afraid I would have issues reaching them all. But that’s not a problem. Some people have complained about it being loud, but it’s really not that bad. I do wish the “R” button had some bumps or something to help with hand placement without looking, but a little dab of clear fingernail polish did the trick. Would buy again.

The product itself a solid 5. I absolutely love it. It does everything I need and more. The rgb presets are fire. The clicking noise from the blue switches perfect. If I had to make one complaint about it it would only be the font on the keys, when I look at them make me feel like a sweaty try hard. I mean I am and that’s why I got it, but like don’t throw it in my face ya know. Anyways back to old school runescape.
