I have been looking for a clear keyboard with a numpad for a reasonable price for probably over a year. I’ve tried using a separate numpad, even a wireless one, but it just doesn’t work for me. This is awesome and I was so pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for like the feel of the blue clicky switches, you might not like it, but I have plenty of those. I wanted this based simply on the look and I didn’t expect to use it much, but it’s now my daily keyboard. If you’re on the fence, try it! You can always return it, but I think it’s great.

It’s a little noisy but that doesn’t bother me. I like the way the keys feel in my fingers as I am typing. The different light variations are pretty dope as well. The best feature to me is that you can utilize Bluetooth, plug it in or even use the wireless usb thumb drive. Having all three of those options is pretty clutch in my opinion!

I bought this keyboard and customized it and it’s so beautiful and such a great price! I don’t need the F row but I can’t live without my numpad so this really is the best of both worlds. I had a problem with it a month in and Redragon was super helpful getting me a warranty replacement and answering all my questions for a month after. I will absolutely be buying from them again when I build my next keyboard.

I use it for more than a week now and I think I will returning it. I use it for work and the Bluetooth connectivity is sucks. In the middle of me typing and it lagged on me so often that I decided to return it. The battery life is suck as well and I work from home where I use it 8 hours per day, it does turn off when your away from your desk and not using it. I like the compatibility where you can use bluetooth or using the USB receiver. I am using the USB receiver and its not working properly on my end. I dont think I want to try the bluetooth option because of how much lagged I got and how often I am unable to type anything on my screen without pressing on the keyboards so hard multiple times. This is my first time using this brand and I am disappointed. I am not sure if gamers like using this and the value for the money is good as they are not too expensive unlike any other brands.

Didn’t realize what all it came with! There’s some extra switches and a whole other set of inverse colored keycaps (along with the tools to switch them out). I am in love with this keyboard! I wanted something compact I can use for travel gaming and work. So far used it for gaming and I have no issues with it. The clacks are oh so satisfying and the spacebar has the best feel to it. absolutely in love and recommend. Such good quality and compact, I’m very happy with my purchase!

Don’t use it for gaming so can’t speak to that.

Nice keyboard for the price, good lights, and the compact design is really nice for still getting the number keys to the right while not taking up a lot of desk space.

My son built his own pc set up and added this keyboard, in his words, it’s beautiful.

Low quality I have an Epomaker GK61 that costs the same and has a much cleaner sound and weighs twice as much, highly not recommended

I’ve had Redragon hardware in the past (a few computer mice, a mic, and a keyboard) but this keyboard is by far my favorite out of anything I’ve had so far. It’s compact and light and the backlighting options are all well designed. I love how it comes with an extra set of keycaps for more customization (all white/all grey options) and the tool to take off the keycaps. It feels great pressing these keys, they’re quiet and very responsive. This keyboard doesn’t feel cheap at all and it’s great for any PC user, gamer or not. Immediately used this in an FPS game and loved every second of it. Would definitely recommend!

I love trying out different mechanical keyboards. I don;t have any that are really high-end, but I have some that I really like all the same. I’ve never had a Redragon, and I know a lot of people are really happy with their keyboards, so I decided to give them a shot.

    PROS
It’s nice and compact, so it’s easy to take with me if I need to transport it.

The response time seems really minimal, which is very nice for gaming.

    CONS
The RGB backlighting leaves a lot to be desired. The controls are a bit of a pain to figure out. What the instructions say and what the controls actually are are two different things.

The keys themselves are slick, which makes them not quite as grippy. As someone with sweaty hands, this makes it more difficult to type.

The overall feeling of the keyboard a flimsy and cheap. I’ve used RKs and Corsairs that feel significantly more upscale than this, and don;t cost much more.

Overall, it’s not bad for the price, but I would recommend saving a few more pennies and buying a nicer overall keyboard for a better gaming and typing experience.

  14. Jon Whipple

Has all the features the much more expensive ones do at a fraction of the cost. RGB lighting is beautiful, key switches have the same feel and sound, keyboard is priced reasonably. I’ve got a few of this brand now and plan on continuing to come back to them!

Great for a primary or secondary keyboard. Lights are amazing and keys response are crazy!! Playing a game of apex will show yu how responsive they are

  16. Dawn S

This keyboard is comfortable and great for gaming, but a big issue is that the buttons are supposed to light up and flash and it doesn’t do any of that.

I received this keyboard free for review and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. This mechanical keyboard has become an integral part of my gaming setup, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance and features. The build quality of the Redragon K628 is exceptional. The keyboard feels sturdy and durable, and its compact design allows for comfortable long gaming sessions without straining my wrists. The keys are well-spaced and provide just the right amount of tactile feedback, making it a pleasure to type and game on. Overall, I highly recommend the Redragon K628 gaming keyboard to any gamer looking for a reliable, feature-packed, and affordable option.

  18. Gosig Marsvin

Finally a affordable keyboard with a numpad. My wife was looking for one that would fit under her monitor stand and also have a numpad. It has a nice sound that could use improvement, which this excels at. It’s not too hard to take it apart, being that the keys are hot-swappable, and the baseplate is easy to remove to add foam or any crazy deadening DIY stuff.

  19. Qazi

This is a great 75% mechanical keyboard. It has different styles of backlight and brightness can be set on different levels and patterns. It has hot swappable keys and support RGB backlights. So far I find it to be a good gaming keyboard.

I will admit it. I am one of those people that hoard and collect keyboards. I do content creation and I do a lot of a gaming – so keyboard are one of those things that I like to know a bit about. One of the things I look for is affordability because I also am a teacher so my budget isn’t that great either. Redragon is a good brand for beginner keyboards if you are looking for a nice affordable mechanical keyboard.

This particular one is a condensed version (~60%) so do not think it is one that is a full size. It is hot swappable which is nice, but the switches that are on them are a good quality (they are a bit loud for tactile). They form of the keys are also great as well. I like how this particular keyboard is plug and play because I didn’t want to have to wait to install more drivers to get it to use on my computer. However, the downside of that is that the RGB is not customizable for the most part.

I would say this keyboard is great for those who just need a good working gaming keyboard without all the bells and whistles. The latency isn’t an issue and I didn’t need to lube the switches right away. So this is great for the games that I play at least.
