The weather station connected right away to the display unit. I have it quite a ways out in my yard and initially needed to recalibrate it by turning it off and on near the station. Since then it has stayed connected just fine.
The weather forecast is not connected to a weather service but rather overall change in barometric pressure. Which could actually be interesting information as I can get the local forecast other places.
I like that you can get daily, weekly, etc readings for rain which will be useful to know what the garden is actually getting.
Overall easy product to set up and gives useful measurements.

Got this to replace a different brand that the wind speed measuring device stopped working after a year due to a design flaw that lets water into the battery compartment. Has everything you need to keep track of your weather. LOVE the rain gauge.

I like that it was easy to setup. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. I had everything working in around 25 minutes. The display is for the most part easy to read. I have trouble seeing red so the indoor temperature that is displayed in red is hard for me to read. The rest of the values are in other colors that I can read no problem.

This weather clock is SO MUCH better than the La Crosse one I had and it was much less $$$. I have only had it for 2 days, so we will see if it sticks too the 5 star rating. It was very easy to set up. Connected to WiFi on its own! My other clock I had to download an app and connect it to WiFi on that and it would not connect. Love this clock!

Set-up was fairly easy. Various readings correlate well with our other Newentor station which works well but has fewer features. Windspeed and ‘feels like’ features are especially useful in preparing to go out. We have not yet had rain since set-up, so cannot comment on the accuracy of the rain gauge. This station offers comprehensive features for anyone who wants to be aware of or predict weather conditions. We highly recommend this station and appreciate the seller’s attentiveness.

Great Weather Station for a great price. I have been looking for a weather station for sometime. I was a bit skeptical as the ones that I have been looking for have been well over $200. This unit is very accurate as I compare my measurements to the official weather reports.
Easy to sync up with the indoor monitor. There are several mounting options. I choose to attached the outdoor unit to a pole as I wanted to have the instrumentation elevated for unobstructed wind readings.

This weather station provides a lot of valuable information for your investment. The indoor unit is easy to read and gives interesting historical data on rainfall and wind, as well as current measurements of various weather related items. The setup is straightforward. Reading the manual is highly recommended. You will get more out of the weather station and better understand the initial calibration and communication between the indoor and outdoor units. I am enjoying monitoring the winter storms with this new weather station.

I am very pleased with the accuracy and ease of installation of both of our Newentor weather stations. Note that the temperature reading may be a bit high during a sunny day as this sensor needs to be in an open area for accurate wind speed. We use the other station for a more accurate ambient air temp reading. We live in a windy area and if is nice to see the top wind speed for the day/week/month/year. The display is easy to read and scroll through for daily highs and lows. Newentor also has an excellent customer service dept. I had an issue with my other weather station sensor and was sent a replacement in a very timely manner. Definitely a great company to purchase from.

My first reaction when I received my weather station was how well the package was made. The second happy revelation was that there was a large instructional booklet that was easy to follow. I installed my sensor on a 6’ pole about 150’ from the weather station located in my house. As I followed the booklet the installation became very easy and without issues. I was a little impatient as I set different features as some things didn’t show right away. When I returned several hours later everything except the outside temperature wasn’t visible on the weather station. After rereading the part on channels, I realized I had the unit set on the wrong channel. After a couple days I am very impressed on how much information is available and how accurate. I was lucky to have two days of rain, snow, windy, and cold temperatures. I recommend this unit to anyone who wants a weather station with many accurate options.
